Stretched across the rust-coloured valley floor of Wadi Rum, Desert Stars Luxury Camp positions its tented suites to face the sandstone massifs that rise 800 metres from the plain. The absence of any village lighting keeps night skies among the darkest in the Middle East.

Each tent combines Bedouin weaving and canvas walls with private en-suite facilities — a rarity in desert camps where shared blocks remain the norm. Meals follow the zarb tradition: lamb and vegetables slow-cooked underground in sand, timed around sunset.

Wadi Rum village, the sole road access point, sits roughly 30 minutes by 4WD. Petra is a two-hour drive north, making the camp a practical overnight between Aqaba and the Nabataean ruins.
