Villa Maya - Glamping - Natural Reserve

Off the tourist corridor lining Cozumel's western shore, Villa Maya occupies a patch of protected interior forest near the San Gervasio Mayan ruins. The glamping property trades resort pools for cenote paths and jungle canopy, positioning guests inside the island's natural reserve rather than along the hotel strip.

Tents and open-air structures sit along trails that double as wildlife corridors; coatis and iguanas move through at dawn. The nearest convenience store is a fifteen-minute drive, making the address deliberately remote.

San Gervasio, the island's only major pre-Columbian site and a historic pilgrimage centre for the goddess Ixchel, is reachable on foot or by bicycle from the property. Cozumel's main ferry pier at San Miguel is roughly twelve kilometres west.
