Stretched along Calle Esmedregal on car-free Holbox Island, Aurora keeps its three floors stair-access only — a deliberate nod to the island's no-vehicle culture, where golf carts and bare feet rule the sandy lanes outside.

Rooms carry air conditioning, mosquito nets, and a tea and coffee maker, balancing the Caribbean heat against practical comfort. Family rooms are available, and the private bathrooms include both bathtub and shower options. Upper-floor units reward the climb with elevated views over the low island canopy toward the Gulf of Mexico.

Holbox sits at the northern tip of Quintana Roo, reachable by a 30-minute ferry from Chiquila port. The island's bioluminescent waters and whale shark season (June–September) draw most visitors, and Aurora's airport shuttle smooths the connection from Cancún.
