Bicycle rental at the tour desk is the practical choice here — golf carts and bikes are the only traffic Holbox permits, and the main beach strip is four pedalled minutes away.

Upper floors reach by stairs only, so ground-floor rooms suit those who prefer flat access. The airport shuttle connects to the Chiquila ferry dock on the mainland, roughly two hours from Cancún.
