Between the tannery lanes and the Ras el Maa spring walk in Chefchaouen's blue medina, Dar Antonio occupies a stone riad on Garnata n36, a five-minute climb from the Plaza Uta el-Hammam kasbah — a quiet base for travellers exploring the old town on foot rather than by taxi.

Rooms keep whitewashed walls and painted wood ceilings typical of Chefchaouen houses; several open onto a shared roof terrace facing the Rif mountains, where breakfast is served weather permitting.

The medina's blue-washed alleys close to vehicle traffic entirely, making the walk from the entrance gate the only approach.
