Riad Layla

Near the Bab Boujloud gate into Fès el-Bali, Riad Layla sits deep in the Arsat Mabrouka quarter, reached by a ten-minute walk through narrow lanes too tight for cars — porters meet guests at the closest drivable point to carry luggage in. The restored courtyard house keeps its original cedar ceilings and zellige tilework around a central fountain.
