Dar Widad

Hidden in the Tabount Tarmigte quarter east of central Ouarzazate, Dar Widad occupies a traditional kasbah-style guesthouse built around a shaded courtyard, ten minutes by car from the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios — a quiet base for travellers heading toward the Dades and Todra gorges rather than staying in town.

Rooms keep hand-tiled zellige floors and carved plaster ceilings; the rooftop terrace faces the Anti-Atlas foothills for evening tea service.
