Forty kilometres of pre-Sahara plateau surround Residence Dallas Warzazate, set in Douar Tigmi Lajdid on Ouarzazate's quiet southern edge, away from the film-studio traffic near the centre. Rammed-earth walls and a palm-shaded courtyard mark the guesthouse as a kasbah-style build rather than a standard hotel block, suited to travellers breaking a desert route toward the Draa Valley or Todra Gorge.

Rooms open onto the courtyard, and terrace seating faces the Atlas foothills at dusk. The Taourirt Kasbah and Ouarzazate's studios sit a short drive north, making this a calmer base for early departures.
