Riad Dar Rita

Twelve rooms wrap a central courtyard behind an unmarked pisé wall in Hay Tassoumaat, a residential quarter east of Ouarzazate's kasbah district. Riad Dar Rita keeps its rooftop terrace open past sunset, with the Atlas foothills visible on clear evenings.

Rooms hold hand-carved cedar doors and tadelakt-finished bathrooms; ground-floor units open directly onto the courtyard fountain. Breakfast is served there or on the roof, with local amlou and khobz baked that morning.

Taourirt Kasbah lies a ten-minute walk away, making the riad a practical base for travellers touring the Ouarzazate film studios or breaking a Sahara-bound drive.
