Riad les jardins Mabrouk

Eight rooms arranged around a central garden courtyard in Taroudant's Oulad Ghazal quarter, Riad les Jardins Mabrouk sits inside Morocco's lesser-visited "Grandmother of Marrakech" — a walled city with intact ramparts and almost no package tourism.

The ground-floor layout means no stairs between the pool terrace, outdoor dining area, and garden, a practical detail that distinguishes it from taller medina riads. An indoor swimming pool supplements the garden terrace, and the concierge arranges walking tours through the souk and tannery lanes a few minutes on foot from the entrance.

Taroudant lies 80km east of Agadir in the Souss plain, with the High Atlas visible to the north and Anti-Atlas to the south — a location that suits hikers more than beach travelers.
