Tsala Treetop Lodge

Sixteen timber-and-glass suites perch above the forest canopy at Tsala Treetop Lodge, connected by suspended walkways roughly 10 km from Plettenberg Bay along the N2. Each suite opens onto a private plunge pool and deck with uninterrupted views over the Tsitsikamma forest.

The lodge sits within a private fynbos and forest reserve, positioning it apart from the Garden Route's beach-focused properties. Wildlife sightings — including bushbuck and vervet monkeys — occur from the deck without leaving the suite.

Plettenberg Bay's beaches and Robberg Nature Reserve lie under fifteen minutes by road. The Crags, home to Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, sits closer still, making Tsala a practical base for both forest and coastal excursions.
