Red Coconut Villa

Forty-eight hours is rarely enough at Red Coconut Villa, a garden property on the Warahena coastal strip of Bentota where the outdoor pool sits within earshot of the beach and the spa menu runs from foot and neck work to full-body treatments.

The villa operates at a notably human scale — ground-floor rooms only, each with a private bathroom, balcony or terrace, and mosquito nets rather than the sealed-window approach of chain resorts.
