Bài Thơ Mountain Hotel

Perched on the lower flanks of Bài Thơ Mountain, the hotel takes its name from the limestone peak rising directly behind it — a peak whose carved verse inscriptions date to a 15th-century royal visit. Rooms on upper floors look out over Ha Long city's rooftops toward the bay.

The three-star property sits closer to the working harbour than to the cruise-boat piers, giving guests a less packaged view of the city between bay excursions. The mountain itself offers a marked trail to the summit, a climb most guests complete in under ninety minutes.

Ha Long's night market and local pho strips are walkable; the main tourist embarkation point at Tuan Chau Island requires a short taxi ride west.
