Design Hostel One

Forty steps from the Peristyle at the heart of Diocletian's Palace, Design Hostel One occupies a converted stone building on Morpurgova Poljana, a small square just inside the old walls — a practical base for travellers wanting palace-district access without hotel prices.

Dorms and private rooms keep exposed stone and reclaimed timber rather than standard hostel bunks; a shared kitchen looks onto the square. Split's ferry port lies a ten-minute walk downhill, useful for early Hvar or Brač departures.

The Riva promenade and its cafes sit two minutes south through the palace's Bronze Gate.
