Piano Nobile Rooms

Within Diocletian's Palace walls, Piano Nobile Rooms occupies the first floor of a Habsburg-era building on Zrinsko Frankopanska, one block from the Peristyle square. Hardwood floors and high ceilings mark the original piano nobile layout — the floor historically reserved for the most important residents.

Rooms are soundproofed against the Old Town foot traffic below and include a refrigerator, tea and coffee kit, and city views toward Split's bell towers. Upper floors are stairs-only, so the building's period character stays intact. Airport shuttle and bicycle rental handle arrivals and local movement without a car.
