Baja Sardinia is a small coastal resort on the northeastern tip of Sardinia, Italy, positioned roughly 30 km north of Olbia along the Costa Smeralda. The village sits within the municipality of Arzachena and faces the Tyrrhenian Sea, with clear turquoise water and granite outcrops that define this stretch of coastline. The area developed as a resort destination from the 1960s onward — contemporaneous with the better-known Porto Cervo — and retains a quieter character than its neighbor while sharing the same quality of beaches. Cala Capra, Cala Battistone, and the nearby Archipelago of La Maddalena are all within easy reach by boat or car.

Visitors come primarily for sailing, swimming, and boat excursions to the La Maddalena islands, a protected national park about 15 km offshore. The summer season runs from June through September, when the marina fills with charter yachts and day-trip ferries depart regularly from Palau, 10 km to the north. The surrounding hills hold low Mediterranean scrub — maquis — and several walking tracks connect the resort to quieter coves. Restaurants along the waterfront serve Sardinian seafood, including bottarga and local lobster preparations.

Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is the nearest major gateway, approximately 35 km south, with direct seasonal flights from across Europe. Car hire is the most practical way to explore the wider area, as public bus connections are limited outside peak season.
