Pieve di Cadore sits at 879 metres in the Cadore valley of northeastern Veneto, roughly 35 km north of Belluno and 25 km south of Cortina d'Ampezzo. The town is best known as the birthplace of Tiziano Vecellio — Titian — born here around 1488. His childhood home on Via Arsenale, preserved as the Casa di Tiziano museum, draws art historians and Renaissance enthusiasts from across Europe.
