Settingiano is a small hilltop comune in the Province of Catanzaro, perched above the Ionian coastal plain in Calabria, southern Italy. The village sits roughly 6 kilometres north of Catanzaro, the regional capital, giving visitors a quiet base with straightforward access to the city's services and the Ionian Sea beaches around Catanzaro Lido. The surrounding Calabrian landscape is defined by olive groves, citrus orchards, and the rugged interior of the Sila foothills visible to the north.
