Borgo Vescine

Twelve rooms spread across a restored hilltop borgo at Loc. Vescine, Borgo Vescine occupies a cluster of medieval stone farmhouses in the Chianti Classico zone, roughly 35km north of Siena's Piazza del Campo. The surrounding vine and olive landscape means no road noise reaches the terrace after dark.

The outdoor pool sits on the lower sun deck; cooking classes and themed dinners keep evenings largely self-contained without needing to drive. Bicycle rental and guided bike tours map the white gravel roads between neighboring estates, while horseback riding departs directly from the property.

Siena is a 40-minute drive south; the Brolio castle of the Ricasoli family, long associated with defining the Chianti blend, sits within 15km. The on-site bar runs a daily happy hour drawing on regional wines poured by the glass.
