Within the protected UNESCO reserve of Wadi Rum, this desert camp places guests among rose-red sandstone massifs far from any paved road or artificial light source. The silence at night is near-total, making it one of Jordan's most reliable stargazing sites.

Tented accommodation is styled for comfort in the extremes — insulated against both the midday heat and sharp overnight cold of the desert plateau. Jeep excursions into the wider valley and guided scrambles on the rock faces can be arranged through the camp directly.

The Wadi Rum visitor centre and the main entry checkpoint lie along the approach road; Aqaba's airport sits roughly 90 kilometres south, making this a feasible add-on to a Red Sea stay.
