Stikliai Hotel - Relais & Châteaux

The only Relais & Châteaux member in the Baltic states, Stikliai Hotel occupies a restored 17th-century merchant house on Gaono Street, deep inside Vilnius's Unesco-listed Old Town. Original brick vaulting runs through the cellar bar, and the internal courtyard — glassed over in winter — doubles as a breakfast terrace when temperatures allow.

Twenty-three rooms hold hand-selected antiques against a palette of Baltic amber and dark timber; no two floor plans match. The in-house restaurant sources Lithuanian rye, foraged mushrooms, and Curonian Lagoon fish, positioning it closer to New Nordic than to standard hotel dining.

Gaono Street sits one minute from the Great Synagogue archaeological site and four minutes' walk from Cathedral Square. The hotel arranges private Old Town walking tours led by art historians rather than licensed guides.
