Mamula Island by Banyan Tree

Eight villas occupy the whole of Mamula, a nineteenth-century Austro-Hungarian fortress island sitting at the mouth of Kotor Bay, roughly 2 km by boat from Herceg-Novi. The conversion kept the circular rampart walls and sea-facing embrasures intact, weaving guest accommodation into the stonework rather than erasing it.

Banyan Tree's spa operates inside the former garrison chambers, offering full-body, couples, and foot massage alongside a sauna and steam room.
