Camel Luxury Camp

Four kilometres into the Erg Chebbi dune field east of Merzouga village, Camel Luxury Camp positions its tented suites where the sand ridge blocks all road noise and artificial light, leaving a horizon of unbroken dune.

Suites use proper beds on raised platforms, private en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and Berber-woven textiles sourced from Rissani market. Dinner is served around a central fire pit; the kitchen focuses on slow-cooked tagine and harira rather than buffet spreads.

Sunrise camel treks depart from camp before 06:00, reaching the highest accessible dune crest in under forty minutes. The town of Merzouga, with its ATM and pharmacy, sits a short 4x4 transfer away — transfers are included in the nightly rate.
