Fourteen tents pitched at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, DWO Golden Camp places guests within walking distance of the highest sand ridges in Morocco's eastern Sahara, where dunes crest above 150 metres.

The camp runs camel treks at dusk timed to reach the ridge crest before the sun drops behind the Algerian border range. Dinners are served around a central fire with live Gnawa percussion — not a staged show but the resident staff's nightly routine.

Merzouga village sits five minutes on foot from camp, offering a handful of family-run cafes and a weekly market. The nearest city, Errachidia, is roughly three hours northwest by road — guests typically fly to Fes or Ouarzazate and drive in.
