Houda luxury camp Merzouga

An eight-tent luxury camp on the edge of Erg Chebbi, Houda sits where the tarmac ends and the dune field begins — guests step from their tent directly onto the sand that rises to 150 metres at the ridge above.

Tents are furnished with fixed beds, Berber rugs, and private bathrooms — uncommon at dune camps in this price tier. Sunrise camel treks and 4x4 dune crossings are arranged on-site; evenings centre on a communal fire with traditional Gnawa music most nights.

Merzouga village, with its small cafes and fossil shops, sits a ten-minute walk west. The nearest airport is Errachidia, roughly three hours by road.
