Twenty-four rooms wrap a mudbrick kasbah at the edge of Merzouga village, where the Erg Chebbi dunes rise directly behind the property line — no road separates guest and sand. Rooftop terraces face east for sunrise over the erg without a shuttle or camel trek required.

A plunge pool sits in the palm-shaded courtyard, useful given the sand's midday heat, and the kitchen runs a set Berber-tagine menu rather than an à la carte one. Camel departures for overnight desert camps leave from the hotel's own gate at dusk.

Merzouga's small strip of shops and the Rissani road lie a five-minute walk west.
