Luxury Tents Merzouga

Behind the last paved road in Merzouga, Luxury Tents Merzouga places guests at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes — the tallest sand massif in Morocco, cresting above 150 metres at its highest ridge.

Each tent combines canvas walls with proper beds, fitted linens, and private en-suite facilities rather than shared desert blocks. Sunrise camel walks depart directly from camp; no transfer to a separate operator is required.

Merzouga sits roughly 50km south of Rissani on the Algerian border road, a four-hour drive from Fès or three from Ouarzazate. The village's single main track doubles as the social hub — café-restaurants and fossil vendors line the 200-metre stretch between the dune edge and the asphalt.
