Merzouga Activities Camp

An eight-tent desert camp on the Erg Chebbi dune fringe in Hassi Labied, Merzouga Activities Camp places guests within walking distance of the tallest sand ridges in Morocco, where dunes crest above 150 metres at their highest point.

The camp organises sunrise camel treks, sandboarding runs, and quad routes into the erg — activities booked tent-side rather than through a separate desk. Nights away from village light pollution make Merzouga one of Morocco's clearest stargazing corridors.

Hassi Labied sits five kilometres north of Merzouga village, reachable from Errachidia by a three-hour desert road. The nearest significant town, Rissani, holds a Thursday livestock souk worth timing a departure around.
