Merzouga Nomadic Desert Camp

An all-canvas luxury camp at the foot of Erg Chebbi's tallest dunes, Merzouga Nomadic Desert Camp places guests within walking distance of the 150-metre sand walls that define this corner of the Sahara.

Tents are fitted with proper beds, woven Berber textiles, and private washing facilities — a deliberate step above the region's standard bivouac offerings. Dinner is served around a central fire, with traditional tagine and live Gnawa music most evenings.

Merzouga village sits roughly 50km southeast of Rissani, the nearest market town. Sunrise camel treks depart from camp before 06:00, reaching the dune crest before the desert floor heats.
