Merzouga Sahara Nights Tents

Carved into the eastern edge of Erg Chebbi's dune field near the hamlet of Et-Taous, Merzouga Sahara Nights Tents places guests directly on the sand rather than at a paved resort margin. The dune face here reaches roughly 150 metres — among the tallest in Morocco — and the pre-dawn climb rewards a horizon with no visible structure in any direction.

Tented accommodation follows the traditional khaima format: woven fabric walls, low lantern lighting, and bedding laid on rugs rather than platform frames. The format keeps interior temperatures manageable through cross-ventilation rather than air conditioning.

Merzouga village sits a short camel ride west, with the Meski fossil market and the seasonal Dayet Srji flamingo lake both reachable before midday. The nearest paved road access point is the Et-Taous track off the N13.
