Sunrise camel treks depart before 06:00 when the dune faces catch low orange light; the camp organises sandboarding and 4x4 circuits deeper into the erg. Evenings centre on a communal fire with Gnawa musicians drawn from Merzouga's local community, a detail absent from most operator-run camps.

Merzouga village sits roughly 50km from Rissani, the nearest market town, making the camp a genuine remote stay. The nearest paved road is a short transfer away; transfers from Errachidia airport, 140km north, can be arranged through the camp.
