Nour Desert Luxury Camp

Three kilometres into the Erg Chebbi dunes east of Merzouga village, Nour Desert Luxury Camp places its tented suites where the sand ridge blocks all road noise and light pollution, leaving the Milky Way unobstructed overhead.

Each tent combines hand-woven Berber textiles with private en-suite facilities — a deliberate contrast to the communal hammams of budget desert camps. Dinner is served around an open fire with live Gnawa music most evenings.

Merzouga sits at the Algerian border edge of Morocco's largest erg, reachable by a three-hour drive from Errachidia airport. Camel treks to the dune crest depart at dawn and dusk, timed to avoid the midday heat that renders the crossing uncomfortable.
