Outdoor luxury camp

Eight luxury tents pitched at the edge of Erg Chebbi's dune field outside Merzouga, this five-star desert camp sits where the last piste track ends and open sand begins.

Each tent combines traditional Berber woven panels with proper beds and private en-suite facilities — an unusual pairing for a tented camp at this latitude. Nightfall brings near-total darkness, making Erg Chebbi one of Morocco's least light-polluted stargazing positions.

Merzouga village, with its camel-hire operators and palmerie cafés, lies a short drive west. The Algerian border sits roughly 50 km east; guests crossing dunes by camelback at dawn sometimes spot the distant military outpost markers on the ridge.
