Sahara Zen Luxury Camp

Opposite the tallest ridge of Erg Chebbi, Sahara Zen Luxury Camp sets its private tents at the dune base outside Merzouga village, roughly a ten-minute drive from town — a base for travelers wanting a quiet desert stay over hotel convenience.

Each tent runs on private generator power with en-suite plumbing, uncommon at this dune depth. Staff lead camel treks to the ridge for sunset and sunrise, timed around the camp's own Berber-run kitchen tent.

Merzouga's last paved road ends near the camp gate; the remaining approach is by 4x4 or camel only.
