Tiziri Camp

Forty luxury tents planted at the edge of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, Tiziri Camp positions guests within walking distance of Morocco's tallest sand dunes — some rising over 150 metres above the hammada floor. The camp sits in the Takojt quarter, the quieter northern approach to the dune field, away from the cluster of budget camps further south.

Each tent combines traditional Berber wool weaving with en-suite plumbing and heated floors — a combination rare at this price point in the Sahara corridor. Dinners are served around a central fire pit with live gnawa music most evenings; the kitchen sources lamb and seasonal vegetables from Rissani market, 20 kilometres west.

Sunrise camel treks depart before 06:00 when the dune shadows are sharpest. Errachidia airport, the nearest commercial terminal, lies roughly 80 kilometres north via the N13 road.
