Arcs De Monells - Adults Only

Eight rooms occupy a medieval stone house on Plaça de Monells, one of the best-preserved Romanesque squares in Catalonia — the arched portico that gives the hotel its name dates to the 12th century and frames the outdoor dining terrace directly.

Adults-only throughout, the property pairs that historic shell with private bathrooms offering bathtubs and robes, minibars, and extra-long beds. An outdoor pool sits behind the walls; the restaurant and bar draw on local Empordà wines and seasonal produce.

Monells is a hamlet of under 200 residents, 18km southwest of Girona and 40km from the Costa Brava coast. Bicycle rental at the hotel connects guests to the Baix Empordà cycling routes through cork-oak countryside.
