Arugam Bay sits on Sri Lanka's southeastern coastline, roughly 320 km from Colombo via the A4 highway. Most visitors arrive by bus from Batticaloa (2 hours) or by private taxi from Katunayake Airport (roughly 7–8 hours). Tuk-tuks handle inter-village transport to breaks like Peanut Farm, Crocodile Rock, and Whiskey Point, each 5–12 km north of the main bay.
