Changi Jungle Ubud Villas

Two private villas on Jl. Raya Andong in Petulu, a rice-terrace hamlet a short drive north of Ubud's central market, Changi Jungle sits above a river gorge with unobstructed jungle canopy views from each plunge pool deck.

Petulu is known locally for its nightly egret roost — hundreds of white herons return to the banyan trees along the road each dusk, a natural event absent from most resort itineraries. The surrounding paddies mean early mornings are genuinely quiet before the Ubud day-trip traffic arrives.

Sacred Monkey Forest is roughly 3 km south; the Goa Gajah elephant cave temple lies under 4 km southeast. Both are reachable by hired scooter or driver, making this a calm base for cultural day trips without staying inside Ubud's crowded core.
