Chapung Sebali Resort

Twelve private villas perch above the Keliki rice terraces in Tegallalang, where Chapung Sebali Resort commands a ridge between two river gorges north of Ubud's gallery district. The approach road winds through working paddy fields before the compound gates appear.

Each villa carries an open-air stone bath and a private plunge pool oriented toward the terrace drop. The resort's spa uses boreh — a traditional Balinese herbal body scrub — as its signature treatment, drawing on recipes from the surrounding village.

Tegallalang's famous tiered terraces begin a short walk from the entrance; central Ubud's Monkey Forest and market sit roughly 8km south by road.
