Forty private villas occupy a river-gorge ridge in Tegallalang, north of central Ubud, where the Sapat hamlet sits above terraced rice fields that drop toward the Campuhan watershed. Each villa faces the gorge rather than a neighbouring structure.

The spa draws on Balinese boreh body treatments using local spice pastes; treatments run longer than the regional average at comparable properties. Dining is set on an open joglo-style pavilion — guests report the kitchen adjusts spice levels without the usual tourist-menu compromise.

Tegallalang rice terraces, among Bali's most photographed, are a ten-minute walk north. Central Ubud's Monkey Forest and gallery district lie roughly twenty minutes south by hotel shuttle, which runs on request rather than fixed schedule.
