Albiano is a small municipality in Trentino, northern Italy, set on the slopes above the Adige Valley roughly 15 kilometres northeast of Trento. The village sits at around 730 metres above sea level, giving it views across vineyards and the river plain below. The surrounding area falls within the Cembra Valley wine zone, known for Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Nero grapes grown on steep porphyry-stone terraces.

Most visitors come through on cycling and hiking routes that link the Cembra Valley to the Adige corridor, or to explore the valley's wine cantinas and porphyry quarrying heritage — the local red porphyry stone has been extracted here for centuries and paved streets across Europe. The pace is quiet; this is rural Trentino rather than a resort town.

Albiano is served by regional buses connecting to Trento, where the mainline Brenner railway links to Verona (roughly 90 minutes south) and Innsbruck (about 90 minutes north). Accommodation in the village is limited; travellers typically base themselves in Trento or along the Adige Valley and visit Albiano as a day trip into the Cembra hills.
