Eremo della Gasprina

Five rooms occupy a restored hermitage in the Borgata Cappallotti hamlet above Barolo, where the Langhe hills roll into the Nebbiolo vineyards that produce the village's namesake wine. The property sits at a remove from the town centre, reached by a narrow lane through vines.

Breakfast arrives directly to each room; the on-site restaurant draws on local Piedmontese produce. Bicycle rental and guided bike tours make the surrounding wine road accessible without a car, and walking tours cover the surrounding crus on foot.

The terrace and sun deck face open vineyard and landmark views that most Barolo hotels replace with car parks. Ground-floor access and facilities for disabled guests are in place throughout.
