Hotel Lagar do Lago

Two kilometres from the Serra da Lousã foothills, Hotel Lagar do Lago sits beside the Praia das Rocas on Castanheira de Pera's reservoir shore — one of central Portugal's few beachfront hotels outside the Algarve. The name references an old olive press, and the building retains that rural Central Beira character against a backdrop of pine-covered hills.
