Baños del Agua

An Albayzín hideaway set within a restored Arab-quarter house on Callejón Almona, Baños del Agua takes its name from the Moorish bathhouse tradition of the neighbourhood — the Alhambra's towers are visible from the terrace above the inner courtyard.

Accommodation is semi-detached and soundproofed, with hardwood and tile floors, a full kitchen, washing machine, and private entrance — better suited to stays of several nights than a transit stop. The sun deck and balcony both face city rooftops rather than a car street.

The Albayzín climbs steeply from the Darro river; upper floors are stairs-only. Walking tours and bar crawls can be arranged through the 24-hour desk, and public transit tickets are sold on site — useful for reaching the centre without tackling the hill on return.
