Twelve rooms occupy Hostal Drago's whitewashed townhouse on Plaza Itálica, a quiet square inside Marbella's medieval casco antiguo, two minutes' walk from the Iglesia de la Encarnación and five from the beach promenade — a practical base for budget travellers who prefer ceramic-tiled lanes over resort-strip pricing.

The two-star guesthouse positions guests within the old town's pedestrian grid, where tapas bars and boutiques replace the high-rise corridors of Marbella's coastal edge. Check-in opens at 14:00 and checkout falls at 11:00.

Plaza Itálica itself is largely traffic-free after dark, keeping noise lower than comparable addresses closer to Puerto Banús or Avenida del Mar.
