Hotels concentrate along Carrer de les Cales and the hillside above Cala Antena. Most properties are 3- and 4-star all-inclusive blocks built to serve the charter-flight market. Smaller aparthotel options sit closer to Cala Domingos Gran, where the beach is wider and calmer. Outside July and August, occupancy drops sharply and several hotels close entirely between November and March.

• Getting there: Rent a car at Palma airport — the resort has no train connection and bus service from Manacor (15 km north) runs infrequently.
• Best cove: Cala Domingos Gran has the longest sand stretch; Cala Antena suits families with young children due to shallow entry.
