Converted from a traditional Balinese compound in Ped village, Villa Kalliste overlooks the Badung Strait from Nusa Penida's quieter north coast, where the pace slows considerably from the dive-boat crowds at Crystal Bay.

Rooms open onto private balconies with sea views; the outdoor pool mirrors the water below. The on-site spa covers the full range — full-body massage, body scrubs, facial treatments, and light therapy — making it a practical recovery base after the island's demanding snorkel and dive sites.

Bicycle rental and a tour desk arrange access to Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach without joining organised group convoys. The shuttle service connects to the Ped ferry pier, a short crossing back to Sanur.
