Challand-Saint-Victor is a small mountain commune in the Aosta Valley, north-western Italy, set in the Évançon valley at roughly 900 m elevation. The village sits below the Castello di Graines, a 12th-century medieval tower ruin that remains one of the best-preserved fortifications in the valley. Accommodation is limited — a handful of guesthouses and agriturismo properties serve visitors seeking quiet mountain retreats away from the busier Ayas and Champoluc ski resorts, roughly 15 km to the north-east.
