Faralda Crane Hotel

Lined with the original crane operator's cab at its core, the Faralda Crane Hotel converts a 50-metre industrial hoist at the Ndsm wharf into three suites suspended above the IJ river. Amsterdam-Noord's former shipyard stretches below, now a creative district of studios and street art.

Each suite occupies a different level of the crane's steel frame, with panoramic windows replacing the old industrial glazing. A rooftop jacuzzi sits at the apex, open regardless of season, with unobstructed sightlines across the harbour.

The Ndsm ferry crosses to Amsterdam Centraal in fifteen minutes and runs until late evening. A skate park and weekend flea market operate directly beneath the crane's legs, keeping the immediate surroundings active through the day.
