Hotel Miramalfi

Tucked into the cliffs above Amalfi's harbour, Hotel Miramalfi anchors itself to the rock face where the Via Quasimodo curves away from the main coastal road. Rooms face the Tyrrhenian directly, with the cathedral's bell tower visible to the east on clear mornings.

The saltwater pool is carved into the cliff terrace and reached by elevator from the main building — a practical detail that separates it from hotels where guests descend long outdoor staircases. The restaurant serves catch landed at Amalfi's small fishing quay, two hundred metres below.

Amalfi sits at the western end of the Sorrentine Peninsula drive; the ferry pier for Positano and Capri is a short walk along the waterfront promenade.
